Experience our snug family holiday cottage Byron’s Barn, your perfect pet friendly family retreat. This end-of-terrace short term rental is a hidden gem, tailor-made for couples and small families seeking a rural escape.

The cottage is off the main courtyard so is perfect for larger families or groups booking some of the other Clyne Cottages. Large windows, adorned with both sheer and full curtains, provide a lovely view into the courtyard towards the riding stables. Perfect for horse mad children!

Pet-Friendly Family Retreat: A Warm Welcome to Your Pets

We extend a warm welcome to your pets, embracing both dogs and other pets upon request. For just £5 per night per pet, your four-legged family members can join in on the fun. And if you have more than four dogs, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Family-Friendly Accommodation

This delightful self catering cottage boasts a small family-friendly layout, with an open-plan lounge, dining room, and kitchen on the ground floor. The cosy double bedroom is downstairs along with the bathroom, complete with a bath, washbasin, WC, and over-bath shower. This makes bath time a breeze for little ones. Ascend to the first floor to discover a charming twin-bedded room nestled in the rooftop eaves, complete with sloping ceilings, ideal for the kids.

Although there is no enclosed garden, this family friendly accommodation has a grassy outside area with a picnic bench for outdoor dining.

No clothes washing facilities in the cottage, but there is an on-site laundry room with a washing machine & dryer that guests can use. Please ask at Reception.

Mobility Accessibility: Ensuring Comfort for All Guests

For guests with mobility considerations, rest easy knowing that the lounge, kitchen, and double bedroom are conveniently situated on the ground floor. The bathroom features a shower over the bath, and while Byron’s Barn may be our cosiest property, it provides a comfortable stay for all.

Immerse yourself in the history of this cottage, christened in honour of Byron Daniels, the master stonemason who transformed it from a humble cart and tractor shed. The double bedroom was lovingly restored, stone by stone, to seamlessly blend with the rest of the structure.

As you unwind in this rustic sanctuary, keep in mind that the neighbouring Stone Corn Barn occasionally hosts special events, such as celebratory dinners. Rest assured, these gatherings adhere to noise level restrictions, preserving peaceful quiet time between 11pm and 7am.

Experience the new and improved Byron’s Barn, boasting an updated kitchen, a brand-new bathroom, plush and comfortable mattresses, and exquisite new wood flooring, all introduced in July 2022.
