Our two unique Barns provide flexible DIY venue hire in Swansea, overlooking Swansea Bay. Whether you’re planning an intimate celebration in our historic Stone Corn Barn or need plenty of room in our spacious Activity Barn, you’ll have the freedom to create an event that feels completely your own.

A DIY Venue

From milestone birthdays and anniversary celebrations to baby showers, workshops, retreats, community groups and children’s parties, our Barns have hosted all sorts of memorable events over the years.

Clyne Farm is a DIY venue, giving you the freedom to create an event that feels completely your own.

You’re welcome to choose your own suppliers, decorate the Barn and organise the day exactly as you wish.

Many customers love this flexibility because it allows them to focus on the things that matter most.

What’s Not Included?

Venue hire does not include event coordination, event management, security, first aid cover, dedicated event staff, housekeeping or cleaning services during your event.

It’s therefore worth planning ahead for things like managing suppliers, guest welfare and dealing with any practical issues that may arise during your celebration.

Food, Drink & Suppliers

You’re free to choose your own caterers and bar suppliers, whether that’s a food truck, buffet, grazing table, formal meal or something completely different.

We’re always happy to recommend local suppliers who have previously worked at Clyne Farm.

If alcohol is being sold rather than provided free of charge, either you or your chosen bar supplier will need to obtain a Temporary Event Notice (TEN) from Swansea Council.

All external suppliers should hold appropriate public liability insurance.

Our stunning 400-year-old Stone Corn Barn is a unique rustic barn venue in Swansea, perfect for relaxed celebrations and memorable gatherings.

Room Details:

• Capacity:
  ~ Up to 60 guests maximum. 
  ~ Up to 35 guests can be seated comfortably at tables.
• Room size approx: Length: 14m. Width: 4.5m to 5.5m (sloping walls). Height: 3.5m at max. 3m to lowest beam
• Two toilets. One with disabled access & facilities. Baby change unit
• Beautiful parquet floor
• Cast iron radiators
• 2 power points
• Our prep kitchen can also be hired as a preparation space (limited cooking facilities).
• Free use of the outside courtyard and stone BBQ
• Tables and chairs for 35 guests included (basic wooden furniture)
• Additional furniture may be hired for an extra charge, subject to availability.

Outside Area:
Barn hire includes the use of the small courtyard outside with picnic benches AND the best view in Swansea! There is also a stone BBQ for alfresco cooking.

Our kitchen can be hired as a prep space (limited cooking facilities). The kitchen can only be booked in addition to the Stone Barn hire.

Kitchen access can be added to daytime Stone Barn bookings and is included with evening Stone Barn hire.

The Activity Barn is a bright, spacious blank canvas that’s ideal for larger gatherings, workshops, fitness sessions and indoor activities needing plenty of open space. Hired empty, it gives you complete flexibility to bring your own equipment and create the layout that works best for you.

• Capacity:
  Up to 120 guests, depending on layout and event style.
• Room size approx: Length: 18m. Width: 8.7m. Height: 4.5m up to 6m (apex roof)
• The room is hired empty
• Two toilets in building foyer. One with disabled access & facilities
• The room is unheated
• 3 power points
• Outside caterers permitted
• Note the climbing wall is only available as part of a booked activity with our instructors, and it is not available as part of the room hire.
