Celebrate your wedding in our beautiful 400-year-old Stone Corn Barn overlooking Swansea Bay. At Clyne Farm, you’ll have the freedom to create a relaxed, personal celebration with your favourite people, surrounded by countryside, sea views and plenty of space for dogs and families to feel at home.

For evening celebrations, your guests can stay together in our seven onsite self-catering cottages, making Clyne as much about the time spent together as the wedding itself.

We only host a few weddings each year, which means when you book with us, it’s personal. You’ll never be just another date in the diary.

A Venue That’s All Yours – Your Day, Your Way

We offer a true DIY wedding experience. You’re free to decorate the Barn in your style – as simple or elaborate as you like. Want bunting and fairy lights? Go for it. Bringing your own florist, caterers, or mobile bar? Absolutely.

Clyne Farm is a genuine DIY wedding venue. We prepare the Barn ready for your arrival, but standard venue hire does not include wedding coordination, event management, security, first aid cover or housekeeping during your celebration. Instead, you have complete freedom to create a wedding that’s entirely your own.

Clyne Farm is a working rural site. Our horse riding centre continues to operate during the day, so you may see horses, riders and other visitors around the farm outside your hired spaces.

We’re happy to share a list of trusted local suppliers if you need a hand getting started.

DIY Wedding Catering & Bar Options

You can choose any catering style that suits you – food trucks, grazing tables, buffets, formal meals – it’s your call. Just let us know who you’ve booked and provide insurance details.

• Bring your own bar or hire a mobile bar.
• If alcohol is being sold, you’ll need a TENS licence from Swansea Council.
• Prep kitchen available as an extra hire – includes basic cooking facilities, storage space, and tableware for 35 guests (plates, wine glasses, cutlery).

Stay Together at Clyne

One of the things couples love most about getting married at Clyne is having their favourite people close by. Our seven cosy self-catering cottages are just a short stroll from the Stone Barn and sleep up to 35 guests, making it easy to turn your wedding into more than just a few hours together. Whether you’re planning a midweek celebration, a relaxed weekend away or simply an overnight stay, having everyone onsite creates a wonderfully laid-back atmosphere.

Many couples choose to arrive the day before to decorate the Barn and spend time with family and friends before the big day. Afterwards, there’s no need to rush home. Instead, you can wake up together, enjoy breakfast overlooking Swansea Bay and make a few more memories before everyone heads off.

Evening weddings (those continuing after 4pm) require all seven onsite cottages to be booked alongside the Barn. This allows your guests to stay together onsite and helps ensure evening celebrations do not disturb other visitors staying at Clyne Farm.

Need room for even more guests? Our nearby Keeper’s Cottage and Barn Owl Lodge provide accommodation for up to 16 additional people, bringing the total number of guests who can stay with us to 51.

Yes. All evening weddings (those continuing after 4pm) require our seven onsite self-catering cottages to be booked alongside the Barn.

Can we decorate the Barn ourselves?
Absolutely. You’re welcome to decorate the Barn and courtyard to suit your style, provided decorations can be removed without causing damage.

Can we use our own suppliers?
Yes. You’re free to choose your own caterers, bar suppliers and other professionals, provided they hold appropriate insurance.

Our kitchen can be hired as a prep space (limited cooking facilities). The kitchen can only be booked in addition to the Stone Barn hire.
