As one of the few truly DIY wedding venues in Wales, our stone barn gives you total freedom to plan your day, your way.

We specialise in small, relaxed weddings for couples who want a DIY experience in a warm, welcoming space. There’s no rigid schedule, no one-size-fits-all packages – just a blank canvas for you to create your perfect day.

A Venue That’s All Yours – Your Day, Your Way

We offer a true DIY wedding experience. You’re free to decorate the Barn in your style – as simple or elaborate as you like. Want bunting and fairy lights? Go for it. Bringing your own florist, caterers, or mobile bar? Absolutely.

We don’t provide staff or wedding coordination, so you’ll need to plan helpers for things like moving chairs, or making sure the day runs to time. But that’s part of the charm – you get complete creative control with no pressure or package restrictions.

We’re happy to share a list of trusted local suppliers if you need a hand getting started.

Food, Drink & The Prep Kitchen

You can choose any catering style that suits you – food trucks, grazing tables, buffets, formal meals – it’s your call. Just let us know who you’ve booked and provide insurance details.

  • Bring your own bar or hire a mobile bar.
  • If alcohol is being sold, you’ll need a TENS licence from Swansea Council.
  • Prep kitchen available as an extra hire – includes basic cooking facilities, storage space, and tableware for 35 guests (plates, wine glasses, cutlery).

Weddings that run past 4pm must be booked with our 7 cosy self-catering cottages, sleeping up to 35 guests. They’re just a short walk from the Barn – ideal for multi-day celebrations.

  • Perfect for families, kids and pets.
  • On-site self-catering cottages that sleep up to 35 guests.
  • Extra cottages nearby in Clyne Valley Country Park (sleeps 16 more).
  • Total overnight capacity: up to 51 guests.

Clyne Farm is one of the few wedding venues in South Wales that offers accommodation for up to 51 guests.

❌ You want an evening event but don’t want to book any accommodation.
❌ You want pre-set décor, catering, or full event coordination included.
❌ You need space for over 60 guests.

Our kitchen can be hired as a prep space (limited cooking facilities). The kitchen can only be booked in addition to the Stone Barn hire.

  • Outside caterers permitted
  • Domestic oven & hob
  • Sink & washing up area
  • Counter space
  • Kettle, microwave and toaster
  • Use of various pots & pans
  • Use of various knives and kitchen utensils
  • Use of a fridge and small freezer
  • x35 of each: wine glass, dinner plate, small bowl, dessert spoon, knife, & fork.

Additional crockery and cutlery may be hired for an extra charge, subject to availability.

We work closely in conjunction with wedding & event planners Eleanor Gail. They offer a range of services from a Full Planning option to On the Day Coordination. One last thing
We will require the insurance details of any suppliers, such as caterers, engaged to supply your event.
Terms & Conditions of Hire will be provided. A damage deposit may be required. Hire for commercial purposes is not allowed.
